About us
relyon plasma offers a wide range of specialized plasma components for manual applications and inline processes. Atmospheric pressure plasmas produce large quantities of very reactive but short-lived chemical species. These can disinfect, clean, modify and functionalize a wide range of surfaces, preparing them for bonding, painting and printing. Our plasma components can also be used for disinfection in healthcare environment.

Products & Services
relyon plasma GmbH, based in Regensburg, develops innovative plasma systems. True to the motto "rely on plasma", we see ourselves as a professional service provider for individual customer requirements. In addition to our own plasma treatment products for industrial and medical technology applications, we develop customized, highly efficient process solutions for surface cleaning, surface activation and germ reduction. Furthermore, relyon plasma offers a wide range of specialized plasma components for manual applications and inline processes thanks to many years of professional industry experience.
MediPlas Reactor
The MediPlas Reactor is a high-performance ozone generator. Depending on the selected process parameters and the type of gas supplied, the following reactive species are formed in the reactor: Ozone, hydrogen peroxide as well as nitrogen oxides. The exact composition of the medium can be varied according to customer-specific requirements.
It is based on cold atmospheric plasma (KAP) and can be integrated into applications as a component for cleaning, sterilization and disinfection. It was developed for the medical technology.
MediPlas Driver
The MediPlas Driver is a driver for ozone generators. The high voltage source provides the necessary voltage power for ozone generation. The MediPlas Driver and the MediPlas Reactor can be integrated into applications as components for cleaning, sterilizing and disinfecting.
The high voltage source is designed to operate with a suitable plasma generator. The ozone generator driver converts a DC low voltage to AC high voltage using an autoresonant circuit topology. The output frequency independently adjusts to the load being operated.
PiezoBrush PZ3
iezoBrush PZ3 has been designed as a compact plasma handheld device for use in laboratories, predevelopment and assembly of small series. With a maximum power consumption of 18 W, the Piezoelectric Direct Discharge (PDD®) technology is used to generate cold active plasma at a low temperature. The heart of this portable plasma device is the TDK piezo plasma generator CeraPlas™ – a high-voltage discharge device for generating cold atmospheric-pressure plasma. Plasma is used to increase the surface energy of many materials with high efficiency, as well as to reduce germs and odors.
PiezoBrush PZ3-i
The PiezoBrush PZ3-i cold plasma unit is designed for integration into new and existing production lines and is therefore compact, safe and efficient. It is particularly well suited for the pre-treatment of processes such as bonding, printing and laminating, thus ensuring process and product quality in equal measure. Due to its uniquely compact and robust design, the PiezoBrush PZ3-i can be quickly and easily integrated into production lines as well as partially to fully automated systems. In addition, comprehensive process control is possible in automated production processes, ensuring traceability. The device is also intuitive to operate and can be maintained without tools.
PiezoBrush PZ3 Modules
Different surfaces must be activated with the appropriate accessories in each case to achieve a good result in the end. Depending on individual customer requirements, there are therefore different exchangeable modules that are suitable for both the PiezoBrush PZ3 handheld plasma device and the compact PiezoBrush PZ3-i integration solution. The device recognizes which module is currently being used and automatically adjusts the process parameters accordingly.
The PDD® technology used to generate the cold plasma of the PiezoBrush product series is based on the discharge of high electric fields. Therefore, the electrical conductivity of the component to be treated, for example, is of decisive importance when selecting the modules. A total of five different modules are currently available: the Standard module, the Nearfield module, the Needle module, the Nearfield Needle module and the Multigas module.
