Products & Services
Micro Laser Sintering is a powder bed-based additive manufacturing process that is used to produce customized and high-precision micro metal components. Additive manufacturing technologies offer unique opportunities for the production of innovative products. 3D MicroPrint GmbH's case studies showcase smart solutions for a variety of applications and fields that illustrate the extraordinary potential of micro laser-sintering technology. The benefits of 3D printing combined with high accuracy, smooth surfaces, excellent detail resolution and complex shapes are being used to produce small metal parts in all industries worldwide.
Medical Grippers - Micro additive manufacturing of medical grippers using the print-as-one process
We present a manufacturing concept for medical grippers based on a special print-as-one design that is produced using the additive printing process Micro Laser Sintering (MLS). The novel design approach, in combination with the high-precision MLS printing process, enables the production of fully functional metal micro grippers in a single manufacturing step.
Arthroscopic Shaver - Smart product design for complex applications
With micro additive manufacturing, functional printed mechanisms and fully integrated complex assemblies can be produced. Smart product design makes this possible in just one step. The arthroscopic shaver shown demonstrates how converting the design into a print-as-one assembly reduces the number of parts to be processed from 6 to one.
Fiber Optic Guides - Small size, great protection
Precision and complexity are inevitable in the field of fibre optics technology. Endoscope tips, fibre guides and general miniaturisation of mechanisms help to decisively advance minimally invasive surgery. By means of Micro Laser Sintering (MLS), the required components are developed flexibly for the respective application and manufactured on demand. Size and shape are adapted according to the different application areas.
